Forbes hires Paczkowski from BuzzFeed News

Technological know-how and business editor John Paczkowski is leaving BuzzFeed Information to in Forbes overseeing the tech and innovation team.

He will start July 11.

Centered in San Francisco, Paczkowski will oversee Forbes’ coverage of engineering, which includes artificial intelligence, large details, cloud, consumer tech, cybersecurity, organization tech, social media, and enterprise funds.

Paczkowski has been with BuzzFeed because February 2015. His desk has was honored with a Livingston and two Mirror awards in 2019, and a Polk and a Pulitzer in 2021.

He previously was deputy editor of tech information website Recode and a senior editor at All Things D, the Wall Avenue Journal’s tech information site.

Paczkowski also worked at the San Jose Mercury News. From 1999 to 2007, he wrote the award-profitable tech news World-wide-web log Excellent Early morning Silicon Valley for the Mercury News, Silicon Valley’s everyday newspaper. He also managed Knight Ridder’s SiliconValley.com, a technological know-how information and impression Internet web page honored with back-to-again EPpy awards from Editor and Publisher in 2003 and 2004.
